Moon in 8th house.

So, lets see what Moon can do in 8th house without any conjunction or aspect from any other planet. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent -

Moon represents Mind, Emotions, Mother, Local Government, Peace of Mind, Home Environment, Water, Milk etc.

8th house is house of secrecy, occult knowledge, death, transformation, death and re-birth, In laws family, joint wealth with spouse etc.

8th house is not a good place for Moon to be in. Why? Because Moon is a very soft & gentle planet and 8th house has portfolio like death, transformation, death and re-birth, changes and sudden ups and downs. Actually, this position of Moon is good to make anyone a perfect occultist or mystic. Moon, i.e. Mind, which wants to be relaxed, is not getting good environment in 8th house. 

As Moon represents emotions and 8th house is sudden ups and downs, here these people suffer a lot emotionally due to sudden events of life. As Moon also represents Mother, their Mother must have gone through similar ups and downs in life. 

But as everything has flip side, good side of this position is that after about mid-life they just get used to this life of sudden ups and downs and actually become great counsellors and healers to others and teach others how to deal with these sudden events. They become very good astrologers, mystics, spiritual healers, doctors and counsellors. 

Overall, a very good placement to become an occultist, mystic healer and doctor.
