Saturn in Krittika Nakshatra

Saturn in Krittika Nakshatra

Let’s look at important things here –

Saturn - It is all that which we don't like in our life. Saturn is Delay, Frustration, Restriction, Limitation and Anxiety. It is people of Authority, like Boss at your Work Place or Father-Figure at Home. Saturn is our Karmic Debt from past-life. Saturn is the things we didn't treat too well in our past life. Saturn is our Challenges and Lessons of life. Saturn is Old-Age, Teeth/Bones in Human Body, Diseases, Changes etc. Saturn represents our Step-Relations, it means that wherever Saturn sits, people related with that house give us Step Treatment. Saturn is Hard Work, Efforts and most importantly Perseverance etc. Nothing comes easy and in one go with Saturn. You have to work hard continuously over the longest possible period of life. Saturn makes a person Legend as Legends have one thing in common that they choose one field and work hard in it for whole life..

Krittika - It is nakshatra of criticism, cutting things, surgeries and bloodshed. Also, it is nakshatra of child care, secrecy, research, protection and foster parenting etc. It spreads from Aries to Taurus. It is ruled by Sun. For more info on Krittika, please check this link - https://www.astrosaxena.com/kritnaksh .

Aries – As Krittika is part of Aries, Aries sign and its representations become important here. Aries is the 1st sign of zodiac belt, so it represents the things and energy of 1st house of horoscope like Self, Personality etc. Besides that, Aries is the sign of our individuality, our aggression, our actions, our competitive ability etc. Aries is ruled by Mars and it is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras named Ashwini, Bharani and Krittika.

Taurus - As Krittika is also a part of Taurus, Taurus sign and its representations become important here. Taurus is the 2nd sign of zodiac belt, so it represents many things related with 2nd house of horoscope like, Hoarded Wealth, Assets, Savings, Finances, Luxuries and Liquid Money. All in all a sign related with luxuries and all the conveniences of life. Taurus is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras, i.e. Krittika, Rohini and Mrigshira. Taurus' lord is Venus.

Mars – As Mars rules Aries, Mars’ position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Krittika/Aries.

Venus – As Venus rules Taurus, Venus’ position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Krittika/Taurus.

Sun – Likewise as Sun rules Krittika, Sun's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Krittika.

Houses Involved – Also, we can’t afford to forget the houses involved as a planet can be ruling different houses and sitting in different house for every person as per ascendant and planet’s position. To know overall affect, we have to consider the houses involved as those areas of life are being impacted.

Generic Results of Saturn - Lots of things change in life with Saturn. Hence, many things will change with Saturn in different nakshatras. As Saturn represents delay, hard work and perseverance, it shows that whichever nakshatra it is placed in, Saturn will give results with hard work, delay and perseverance. With Saturn, it doesn’t matter if he is in friendly sign/nakshatra or enemy sign/nakshatra. Saturn represents either challenges or even more challenges anywhere. It can never be convenient or pleasant in any house/sign positions, not even in exaltation. Another generic thing will be Saturn’s results in relationship matters. Saturn is a cold or harsh planet. In any house/sign/nakshatra, Saturn would show that people related with that house will give person a very harsh or cold treatment. In romantic relations, Saturn will just suck the pleasure factor away and relationship life can be very dry and cold. People say that after 35 Saturn gives better results but I feel that it is not that Saturn will bring better results but we realize our limitations in life till 30-35 years of age and we understand that what we can expect in life and what we cannot. With this background, let’s understand Saturn in various nakshatras.

Interpretation of Saturn in Krittika Nakshatra – Now, Saturn is in Krittika Nakshatra which is ruled by Sun. Saturn is in enemy nakshatra and debilitated sign in Aries. In Taurus, it is in friendly sign. As Krittika is ruled by Sun, these people can have some serious issues with Father, Father Figure or Authority Figure. Person will gain authority and recognition with delay, hard work and perseverance. Saturn in Krittika nakshatra can make someone go into medical and care-giving field but they have to work really hard for that. As Saturn remains a cold planet, they can be very cold towards nourishing others. It is like they are just doing their duty. They may not show any emotional connection with other person. This position can easily take someone towards foster care as Saturn itself represents step-relation and Krittika’s mythological story is all about taking care of someone’s child. In personal life too, they can be inclined towards adopting another’s child.

As Krittika is also related with fighting battles and Saturn represents Law, these people can also become Lawyer or Judges. Krittika is also a nakshatra of editing, criticising and analysing things. Saturn here can make a very good editor or critic but again, success will come in Saturnian ways of delay, hard work and perseverance.

Saturn in Taurus section can be less challenging than Saturn in Aries as Saturn is debilitated in Aries. Saturn in Aries can give long term health issues too, especially related with bones, teeth or any chronic illness. Relationship matters can get hurt due to ego clashes and restrictions in results.

Role of Mars – Mars's position will become important in functioning and results of Saturn in Krittika/Aries as Mars rules Aries.

Role of Venus – Venus’ position will become important in functioning and results of Saturn in Krittika/Taurus as Venus rules Taurus.

Role of Sun - As Sun rules Krittika, its position is also important to finally decide about the results of Saturn in Krittika.

Other Factors – And of course, we need to consider conjunction, aspects, house lordship, house position and dashas etc to know the exact results of Saturn in Krittika in either of the signs. So, we always need to take a holistic view of chart rather than just 1 planetary position.

Conclusion – So, this is how I see Saturn in Krittika can work in a chart.
