Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra

Rahu - It represents Illusion, Foreign Lands, Foreign Things (foreign as in unknown things. So, for someone living in Punjab, culture and rituals of Kerala is also unknown and hence Foreign), Drugs, Medicines, any type of intoxication, Fame, Wealth, Success, Obsession, Past-life incomplete Desires, Movies, Television, Online World, Cheating, Imagined Fears, Unusual Things, Unique Things, Creativity, Rule breaker. Rahu also blows things out of proportions.

 

Krittika - It is nakshatra of criticism, cutting things, surgeries and bloodshed. Also, it is nakshatra of child care, secrecy, research, protection and foster parenting etc. It spreads from Aries to Taurus. It is ruled by Sun. Aries – As Krittika is part of Aries, Aries sign and its representations become important here. Aries is the 1st sign of zodiac belt, so it represents the things and energy of 1st house of horoscope like Self, Personality etc. Besides that, Aries is the sign of our individuality, our aggression, our actions, our competitive ability etc. Aries is ruled by Mars and it is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras named Ashwini, Bharani and Krittika.

 

Taurus - As Krittika is also a part of Taurus, Taurus sign and its representations become important here. Taurus is the 2nd sign of zodiac belt, so it represents many things related with 2nd house of horoscope like, Hoarded Wealth, Assets, Savings, Finances, Luxuries and Liquid Money. Interpretation of Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra – Now, Rahu is in Krittika Nakshatra which is ruled by Sun. As Rahu blows things out of proportion, here it shows that a person can be extra fiery, hot tempered and critical to others. These are Krittika traits which will get further enhanced in Rahu’s presence. It is more so when Rahu is in Aries/Krittika section because Aries is also sign of aggression. These people need to redirect their aggression in some positive pursuits. If not, it can lead to violence and bloodshed too. At the same time, this can be useful position for any work of Critical/Analytical nature. In Taurus section, these people can be more about gaining safety and security through their aggressive ways. They can be easily seen as Doctors, Surgeons and Soldiers etc. This position can also make someone very good in child care or foster parenting kind of activities. They themselves can adopt a child. This is a good position for materialistic gains but it would be a good idea to check person’s anger here.

As Krittika is nakshatra of sharp weapons and cutting things, in relationship matters, they can suffer due to uttering unnecessary words which can hurt ego of partner and can bring ego clashes or aggression in relationship. Role of Sun - As Sun rules Krittika, its position is also important to finally decide about the results of Rahu in Krittika.

 

Other Factors – And of course, we need to consider conjunction, aspects, house lordship, house position and dashas etc to know the exact results of Rahu in Krittika in either of the signs. So, we always need to take a holistic view of chart rather than just 1 planetary position.
