Ketu – Ketu represents Isolation, Separation, Spirituality, Mystical World, Other Dimension means things related to Alien World. Leo - As Magha is a part of Leo, Leo sign and its representations become important. Leo is 5th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the things associated with 5th house of horoscope like Love, Creativity, Arts, Being on Stage etc. Besides that, Leo is basically the Lion. This is the sign of feeling like King or Queen. Also, it is a sign of independence, Confidence, Ego, Self Esteem etc. Leo is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatra namely Magha, Purva-Phalguni and Uttara-Phalguni. Leo's lord is Sun..

Sun - As Sun rules Leo, Sun's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Magha/Leo.

Ketu - As Magha is ruled by Ketu, Ketu's position and dignity will also have an important role in functioning and results of any planet in Magha.

Houses Involved – Also, we can’t afford to forget the houses involved as a planet can be ruling different houses and sitting in different house for every person as per ascendant and planet’s position. To know overall affect, we have to consider the houses involved as those areas of life are being impacted.

Interpretation of Ketu in Magha Nakshatra – Ketu is in enemy sign here ruled by Sun. It is in own nakshatra. As Magha/Leo both represent high authority & celebrity status and as Ketu represents separation, it shows that they don’t like to be in authoritative position or in position of recognition and fame. They will separated from any kind of fame. They also don’t like when someone else is authoritative towards them. It only shows that in their past-lives they had been in a very authoritative position and they have exhausted that energy to extremes. Hence, in this life, no such desires now. But if they get into situations again where they have to gain authority then they can easily do that as it is their past-life expertise. It also shows an interest in archaeology or in knowing about your ancestors. They can research in these matters. They can also have issues with governments.

As Ketu itself represents separation, split, break-up etc, if Ketu is getting involved in relationship matters in a chart, it is never a good placement. Person will be feeling separated in relationship either physically or mentally or both ways. This will bring a tug-of-war kind of result where they may feel separated when they are in relationship but when they are single, they may desire relationship. As Ketu remains illusion, possibility of cheating is high in relationship. As Magha represents ancestors, they can get into relationship with someone connected from their past-lives.

Role of Sun – Sun's placement is important to guide Ketu in right direction, being Leo's lord.

Role of Ketu - As we are trying to interpret Ketu only, we need not to see Ketu's placement separately being Magha’s lord.

Other Factors – And of course, we need to consider conjunction, aspects, house lordship, house position and dashas etc to know the exact results of Ketu in Magha. So, we always need to take a holistic view of chart rather than just 1 planetary position.
