Leo - As Uttara-Phalguni is a part of Leo, Leo sign and its representations become important. Leo is 5th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the things associated with 5th house of horoscope like Love, Creativity, Arts, Being on Stage etc. Besides that, Leo is basically the Lion. This is the sign of feeling like King or Queen. Also, it is a sign of independence, Confidence, Ego, Self Esteem etc. Leo is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatra namely Magha, Purva-Phalguni and Uttara-Phalguni. Leo's lord is Sun.

As it is nakshatra of hard work, working with details/analysis, especially in financial/legal field, and as Ketu represents our past-life expertise, it shows that these people can be really good at dealing with details and analysing things. They can be best seen as in editing related work. They can also be working as financial analyst, stock-market experts or Chartered Accountants etc. Especially if Ketu is in Virgo portion, mostly they are working in financial nature of work. This can give a person love towards analyzing and perfecting things. In other fields too, they can be seen as perfectionists. In both signs, they can be all about working hard and putting best efforts rather than looking for any authority. They can also be very good to drafting agreements, conditions and clauses. So, they can be seen as lawyers too, especially in Virgo section. Best representation of this placement can be a banker who is working in loan section.  

As Ketu itself represents separation, split, break-up etc, if Ketu is getting involved in relationship matters in a chart, it is never a good placement. Person will be feeling separated in relationship either physically or mentally or both ways. This will bring a tug-of-war kind of result where they may feel separated when they are in relationship but when they are single, they may desire relationship.
