Illnesses to Parents/Other Relatives.

There was a request to write about how we can know about possibilities of illnesses to Parents from charts of Children. I understand that this question has arisen because still in many families, parents and grandparents don’t have their charts. So, it is important to discuss this topic so that we can know possibilities of ailment to our parents from our charts only, so that we can start taking pro-active measures to mitigate the suffering to minimum possible.

 

Not only we can see possible ailments to our parents from our chart but we can see life events of all our relatives through our charts. This is something we will discuss towards the end of this article.

 

So, let’s take the simplest example of an Aries ascendant chart. Suppose X person is born with an Aries ascendant chart. Now, what are the houses which can indicate health issues for this X person.

 

6th house – It is the main house of illness.

 

8th house – It is the main house of accidents, surgeries and bloodshed.

 

2nd house and 7th house – These are Maraka Houses. Again, Maraka Houses or Killer Houses don’t exactly mean like person is going to die. It means that going through a death-like situation which could include going through a critical ailment.

 

12th house – It is the main house of Hospitals.

 

Now, what are the houses for Mother and Father?

 

4th house is the house of Mother.

 

10th house is the house of Father.

 

Now, if we want to see the houses which can represent ailment for Mother –

 

5th house and 10th house – As they are 2nd house and 7th house respectively from 4th house; i.e. Maraka Houses for Mother.

 

3rd house – As it is 12th house from 4th house; i.e. house of Hospitals for Mother.

 

9th house – As it is 6th house from 4th house; i.e. house of Illnesses for Mother.

 

11th house - As it is 8th house from 4th house; i.e. house of sudden events/accidents for Mother.

 

Additionally, if 6th house/8th house/12th house lords are associated with 4th house or 4th house lord or Moon, it also shows difficulties of above nature can come to Mother. Saturn and Ghatni Karaka association with 4th house, 4th house lord or Moon also indicates health issues to Mother.

 

Likewise, for Father –

 

10th house is the house of Father.

 

Now, if we want to see the houses which can represent ailment for Father –

 

11th house and 4th house – As they are 2nd house and 7th house respectively from 10th house; i.e. Maraka Houses for Father.

 

3rd house – As it is 6th house from 10th house; i.e. house of Illnesses for Father.

 

9th house – As it is 12th house from 10th house; i.e. house of Hospitals for Father.

 

5th house - As it is 8th house from 10th house; i.e. house of sudden events/accidents for Father.

 

Again, if 6th house/8th house/12th house lords are associated with 10th house or 10th house lord or Sun, it also shows difficulties of above nature can come to Father. Saturn and Ghatni Karaka association with 10th house, 10th house lord or Sun also indicates health issues to Father.

 

As always, Planetary Dashas and Annual Transits impacting these houses can cause illnesses to parents. So, we need to be extra careful or pro-active in those times.

 

Now, every house of our chart represents some relatives in our life. Let’s say if I want to see time of possible ailment for my 1st younger sibling then 3rd house is house of 1st younger sibling and then 4th house, 8th house, 9th house, 10th house and 2nd house will become the houses of possible illness for younger sibling.

 

Likewise, we can see houses and timing of possible ailment for all our relatives including ourselves.
