2024

As I see, 2024 can be an year of major changes, instabilities and transformations. Reasons are multifold and here they are -

Numerologically - If you add-up all numbers od 2024; i.e. 2+0+2+4 = 8. 8 is the number of Saturn. Saturn is the planet of major changes. Also, 8 is the number of infinity and Karma too; i.e. whatever goes around comes around. So, this can be the year where past karmas may come-up to us to face it and learn lessons from it.

Astrologically - Now, if we see things astrologically then also a lot of energy will be accumulated, throughout the year, in Scorpio sign. Like,

Right now, Saturn is aspecting Scorpio from Aquarius.

Rahu has moved into Pisces and it has also started aspecting Scorpio.

Now, from May, 2024 onwards, Jupiter will be transiting Taurus and it will also aspect Scorpio sign.

So, we can see that lots of energy will be accumulated in Scorpio sign, which is again 8 number sign and represents major changes, instability and past karma.

This joint impact of Rahu-Saturn on Scorpio is already on but Rahu-Jupiter-Saturn all will impact Scorpio from May, 2024 to May, 2025. This is when we will feel this impact on Scorpio with most intensity.

During this time too, time from Aug, 2024 to May, 2025 can be the most intense, challenging and life-transforming as Mars will go retrograde in Gemini/Cancer during this time. So, understand it like this, lots of planets (Rahu-Saturn-Jupiter) are impacting Scorpio and its lord Mars is going into debilitation. It is like a person who is facing lots of chaotic situation in life and feeling that he is unable to handle them and losing control over the situations.

So, we need to be very careful in matters related to the House in our Chart where Scorpio falls as we can see changes, challenges and instability in that area of life. Proactive work from the very beginning of the year in that area of life can mitigate difficulties in life during the latter part of year.

It can be different House and different area of life for everyone as per their ascendant. Like, for Scorpions like me, it is impacting 1st house of overall life itself but for Leo people, it is impacting 4th house of home life, real estate and mother. Hence, we need to be extra careful in the area of life represented by the House where Scorpio falls in chart.

Last but not the least, whenever we go through such difficult and challenging transits then it is always better to look at previous such transits. So, if we go back in memory then we may realize that a similar year was 15. 2015 added up to 8 again and Saturn-Jupiter-Ketu all were impacting Scorpio in transit (Saturn was in Scorpio itself, Jupiter was aspecting from Cancer and Ketu was aspecting from Pisces). If you have seen some major changes in life in 2015 then you can be taking proactive measures in those matters this time to mitigate difficulties. Obviously, dashas will play their roles.

Needless to mention here before closing that Scorpio represents many different things at different levels. At one place, if it represents instability, chaos and changes then on the other hand, it also represents mystical side of life, occult/mysticism, any research oriented subject and people having mystical experiences in life. So, if we focus on this mystical/spiritual side of Scorpio then same transit in 2024 can bring some mystical experiences also.
