Ashwini - Ascendant Nakshatra Life Pattern

So, this is the 1st article of this series where we will try to understand that what will happen if Ashwini Nakshatra is someone’s Ascendant Nakshatra and how it is going to impact the life pattern of person?

So, let’s go through this article focusing on the following points –

Ascendant Nakshatra – There is something called the Ascendant Nakshatra. If Ascendant shows the life path then Ascendant Nakshatra will show the pattern of life. It shows the activities we follow throughout our life as a pattern.

Ashwini Nakshatra - Ashwini is the 1st nakshatra, so it comes with the nature of pro-activeness and being first everytime. It is also the nakshatra of Healers or Doctors as its deity is Ashwini Kumars, the metaphysical healers. It is also the nakshatra of illusion, cheating and confusion. Effect of Ashwini Nakshatra as Ascendant Nakshatra – I have seen repeatedly that Ashwini Nakshatra as ascendant nakshatra makes a person very much interested or in love with Animals in general or Horses in particular. They are also very proactive and people having leadership abilities.

They are also seen in healing and health care kind of activities. As this Nakshatra is closely connected with animals, twin horses being its symbol, it is very common to see them as Veterinary Physicians. But as Ketu rules this Nakshatra, the door of alternate/unconventional healing also opens. All these traits can be part of life pattern for a native who has Ashwini as ascendant nakshatra

Ascendant Nakshatra Lord’s Position – Now, as ascendant shows our life path and ascendant lord’s position in chart shows the direction of life path; likewise, ascendant nakshatra shows our life pattern and position of ascendant nakshatra lord in chart shows the area of life, where the life pattern will be exhibited.

All or any of the traits and characteristics of Ashwini Nakshatra discussed above can become the Life Pattern for someone if it is the person’s ascendant nakshatra. Now, in whichever House/Sign Ashwini’s lord Ketu is placed in an Aries Ascendant's chart, person may get Ketu’s natural separative results there, especially in matters of Jeeva Karakas (living significances). Additionally, person’s life pattern involving aforementioned activities can be exhibited from the house/sign wherever Ketu is placed in chart.

For example in this matter, Ketu in 4th house/Cancer would show that person’s life pattern can be about emotionally or mentally nourish people through healing practices done from home or private offices.

Whereas, Ketu in 9th house/Sagittarius would show that person’s life pattern can be about gaining or sharing higher education about the Ashwini related things and serving people of different ethnicity or culture.

Final example, Ketu in 11th house/Aquarius would show that person’s life pattern can be about serving humanity through Ashwini related aforementioned activities and he can be doing it either in large organizations or through his own entrepreneurship.

Needless to say that Ketu will still show its natural separative results in the house where it is sitting; especially in matters of living significator.

Dignity – As I said, with malefic planets like Saturn and Ketu, dignity doesn’t matter really. So, we cannot decide the probable results with dignity here but we can say that as Ketu is involved, a certain disappointment or separation in life can be a factor which takes the person towards these activities. But we can apply the rule of Jeeva Karaka and Ajeeva Karaka which can tell us where or towards whom the native may have this feeling of isolation/separation.

Conclusion – As I see, this is how we can understand as to how ascendant nakshatra can setup the life pattern for people with Ashwini Nakshatra as the Ascendant.
