So, now we will try to understand that what will happen if Rohini Nakshatra is someone’s Ascendant Nakshatra and how it is going to impact the life pattern of person?

Effect of Rohini Nakshatra as Ascendant Nakshatra – Rohini Nakshatra is related with Growing. So, it is Nakshatra of creativity, progress, beauty, luxury and conveniences. It is a nakshatra of business people and people who seek to be very stable, mostly financially. They can be very creative people and can have lots of talents and skills. They are also considered as highly romantic people.

They can have the willingness to always grow forward in life and always be involved with something new to further evolve. We can say that they are not happy with static life and hence, they are always looking for next goal or destination in life.

Ascendant Nakshatra Lord’s Position – Now, as ascendant shows our life path and ascendant lord’s position in chart shows the direction of life path; likewise, ascendant nakshatra shows our life pattern and position of ascendant nakshatra lord in chart shows that in which area of life, the life pattern will be exhibited.

For example, in this matter, Moon in 1st house/Taurus would show that native can be self-focused and would like to perform the above activities for self-growth and achievements. This shows that person can become self-centered or selfish. Here, the purpose of involving in any or all above activities can be stability and growth for Self rather than anything else. As Moon is exalted, person will be inclined to serve others or help/nourish others but after his own goals are accomplished or through accomplishing his own goals. 

Whereas, Moon in 7th house/Scorpio is debilitated. Now, the person can pretend to serve others whereas the purpose can be self-sustenance or achieving some selfish purposes. As Moon is debilitated, person can be unhappy about his overall growth in life and the results of the aforesaid activities as life pattern. In relationship matters, this result can be more prominent when native can pretend to be caring towards partner but in actuality, they can be all about accomplishing their own desires. In business matters and following aforesaid activities as life pattern too, they can be feeling frustrated with the results and nourishing people may not be their final aim.

Final example, Moon in 9th house/Capricorn (For Taurus ascendant chart) would show that person’s life pattern can be about serving and nourishing people ((by any of the above activities)) through his higher education and knowledge. Person may like to get higher education related with above activities and then share their knowledge with others. But as Moon is in Saturnine sign, it will require extra hard work and perseverance to receive the results.  

Needless to say that natural results of Moon, as a planet of Mother, Mind and Nourishment etc will still be exhibited in the house where it is sitting; as per its dignity.

Dignity – As always, Dignity of Planet has the highest say. If Moon is in exaltation (Taurus), Own Sign (Cancer), and Friendly Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius and Pisces) then there is a potential that person can get results without much difficulties or obstacles. When Moon is in Enemy Sign (Gemini and Virgo), Saturnine Signs (Capricorn & Aquarius) and Debilitated Sign (Scorpio) then things can be difficult to achieve and extra hard work is needed to be done.

Even this distinction can be understood differently by different people. Many a times, we don’t value things which are easily achieved or available to us and we end-up in valuing those things for which we had to work really hard. So, it is very difficult to judge as to which result is good or which result is bad. It largely depends on individual.
