As we are about to successfully complete 4th batch and as we are starting our next batch of Astrology-Ayurveda Gurukul from Jan, 2025, please find below some of the feedbacks we have received from our students of all batches so far which may help you in deciding whether or not to join the next batch, if you are interested in.

4.“I have never taken such an exciting and extensive course that was nearly three US college semesters long. Each session was very informative and provided real-life examples based on Swamiji’s own research and experiences. I never had the chance to get bored during a class thanks to his interactive teaching style.


Swamiji has a true passion for teaching. He knows how to help his students understand the logic behind each and every interpretation of a horoscope. Further, he was able to maintain the same enthusiasm and passion in each class, despite some being over four hours long.


One key tenet taught in the course was that each planet, whether malefic or benefic, can provide you with something good if you align yourself with that planet’s energy. I will try to follow this principle for the rest of my life. This statement is very much aligned with a saying by Abraham Hicks, a famous author and an inspirational speaker- “If you’re not excited about it, it’s not the right path.”

Greetings to all from islands of Hawai’i loa, from the ancient ones, who reside in the stars above, from the rising in the east to the setting in the west. May spirit ancestors bless your remembrance of all good things. It is presently our traditional New Year, a season of rest, a time to gather, to share and to enjoy the fruits of our labors, to reflect on the past year, and to renew and conserve our energies for the year ahead.

I have never been to the Great Lands of India, to view its Temples, their Priests and Sages, to experience its rich, cultural traditions or to admire the beautiful natives who inhabit its vast shores. Nevertheless, as a student of Kumu Vishal, I am truly amazed at the comprehensive and complex science of Vedic Astrology, its spiritual truth and wisdom and its practical application upon a nativity, whose very existence testifies to magnificent intelligence of Divine Creator.

From personal experience, I know that it is very difficult to learn to do Vedic without professional guidance. As a “western” astrology student, I must confess that I understand only a small fraction of the truth of all that Kumu Vishal speaks, not knowing Vedic terminology or the cultural, mythological references that might be more easily and naturally understood by those of Indian descent. Because of this, many times I don’t know what questions to ask that might further my understanding.

But, because of this class, I want to further explore the Nakshatras. It is really helping me to relate to Indian culture. The mythology of the Nakshatras, in many ways, seem similar to my native Hawaiian mythologies of origin. This gives a cultural/spiritual perspective to understanding Vedic.

Kumu Vishal has a vast list of articles on Vedic concepts and its applications to aid the student. It is impressive how freely he shares his knowledge and experience. He is patient and is understanding of our foibles. No matter the question, he provides succinct, realistic, practical answers. He’s humble, says when he needs to do research to provide concrete direction. And, he tries to help others achieve their goals. I believe he also strives to connect his students to the teachings of the DIVINE. As such, his true nature as an AUTHENTIC GURU shines brightly.

And, he is the most generous and giving ke Kahuna Kilokilo-Hoku [Master [professional] Astrologer] I have ever met. In the past, I never imagined that I could afford to attend a Vedic Astrology School in India. Amazingly, for all this excellent training and education, his courses are reasonably affordable.

Lastly, I want to say that studying with Kumu Vishal this past year has given me courage to heal from a very painful personal experience, the loss of my beloved spouse of 29 years [April, 2021]. Studying Vedic focused my attentions and I experienced the healing energy of Astrology, when viewed thru the lens of the Vedas. It gives one insight into the human condition, its strengths and weaknesses and guidance on how to deal with personal challenges.

10. “I have been privileged to learn astrology from Vishal sir. With immense personal interest in the subject, my journey was unexpected. But once I commenced the structured classes with Vishal sir, I first learned to organise my previous little knowing.
Every class added understanding, knowledge and concepts of astrology. While clearing the doubts, asking the questions, addressing the concerns, and debating on perspectives, I learned some valuable lessons of human soul evolution.

14.I'd highly highly recommend these classes to everyone who wants to understand the whys and the how's of the deep existential questions. It'll make life a little easy for everyone.

These classes were the right mixture of Astrology and spirituality.

The astrological concepts were very easy to understand with real life astrological charts being taken up as examples, over which detailed discussions were done. The accuracy, with which the events unfold, sometimes leaves one spellbound.

18.Vishal’s course for Vedic Astrology/Jyotish is extremely rewarding on account of the fact that Vishal, Swami Premanand Bharti is much more knowledgeable than many of the mainstream Vedic Astrologers I’ve followed over the past 7-8 years when I transitioned over learnings Tropical to Sidereal. That may be my personal bias and all but that’s just how I feel and I do believe I would say so even without the bias. Because it was due to my not getting full clarity in my studies and learnings that I even made the search and contacted Vishal in the first place. He has never failed to answer an academic question and give clarity. He encompasses Jyotisha in this way. I shouldn’t be more confused after listening to an astrologer; then how is this the divine light? His manner of teaching is clear, concise, methodical. That’s just what students need for their success in the subject. He even encourages students to stick to one method of learning at a time. We all know that’s crucial to success as well. Nobody ever became a master by having their fingers stuck in too many pies.

This class has synchronized in my mind as a major part of my awakening as a soul. Last year my New Years Eve itself literally started with a bang, and that was right around when we began. Despite all the turmoil including leaving my country and then coming back, I have clung to this class for my sanity, and a Vedic Astrology as a whole. I will be a lifelong student and I wish this class will never end, I want to be in the next class. I love everybody in this class as well, everyone is so nice and it’s good to see many others who are passionate for this divine science which will surely be taking the throne in the next hundreds of years to come. It will be thanks to the thousands of marvelous teachers such as Vishal that we can see such a thing occur. Vedic Astrology helps people awaken to themselves and how they can bring this light of self-knowledge and awareness to others so we can all begin the evolution process like a domino effect. I have nothing but thanks to give to all my fellow students and my most respected teacher in life. Furthermore, I recommend this astrologer more than any others. I am also of the opinion that a client ought to hear the truth before anything else. Having said that, I would also recommend this Astrology course over anyone else’s. It may not be as fluffed up with a grand name like some of these other astrologers like to do, but we’re not here for the fluff; we’re here for the knowledge. The knowledge itself should be the elixir we prize, not all the extra unnecessary trimmings. Again I’m not saying this to insult other methods but I feel it’s all unnecessary to beginning or aspiring astrologers. Vishal delivers the knowledge and nothing else, and that’s just beautiful.

Is this class for you? If you love knowledge, this class is for you. If you’re open minded, this class is for you. If you’re dedicated to learning astrology, this class is for you.

My only small critic would be Vishal’s room lighting could be improved but I don’t really care about that to ruin my experience. I would take this class again and again regardless of that. So if you’re a nit-picky person and the lighting may be a problem, then the class is not for you.

Sorry to be verbose, but there is just so much I could say that’s great about this course. I hope to see some of your names again in the next class.

21.I had serendipitously ran into Vishal's blog, and now have become a follower of the same. My mother had inculcated in me, an interest in Vedic astrology and had introduced me to the basics during my early years. Since then I had been following it as and when time permits, and firmly believe that it is purely a science and a blue print for our life path/pattern, but i never had the same kind of belief on astrologers generally (sorry about that!) since I wasn't convinced by the ways most of them interpreted or explained the charts/transits/etc., And so, I had never consulted an astrologer in my life so far. But it took me only a few reads of his articles to be convinced that he is a great astrologer who understands astrology for what it is and counsels people to help them move to the next plane of spirituality. And then in no time I had requested for an overall consultation for me and my husband. Vishal was so patient with all our questions and explained all the houses/karakas/aspects/stars etc and highlighted the do's and don'ts that would make us align with our horoscopes and make our lives better, cautioning about health issues that might come up, and advising on pro-active measures, etc., Never hurried the sessions, but took his time and was very articulate and precise as well. He seems to be a very good person and a mentor as well, keen on helping people with issues.

Shortly thereafter he was commencing a new vedic astrology course, which without a second thought, I joined. And am so glad I did. More than teaching just the usual side of astrology that deals with planets, their placements and so forth, the emphasis he lays on the spiritual side of it, the three gunas and getting ourselves elevated to the higher plane or significations aligning with the chart (the real "jyothi - isha") sets him apart from the usual teachers we meet. Though the course fee was for a certain number of sessions, he was kind enough to add a few extra sessions for us to be able to revise and to go over a few new concepts. He is full of patience as well and doesn't rush anyone, giving sufficient time so no student falls behind. He also doesn't close the doors just after the consultation or the course is complete but makes himself available to clarify any questions we have anytime later which shows his magnanimity and the passion to share knowledge and elevate people spiritually. Vishal is one of the handful that I have met so far who is more of a Guru rather than just a trainer/teacher.

I highly recommend him to anybody that likes to learn astrology or needs spiritual counselling or need help with life forecasts based on their charts. Thank you very much, Vishalji!

22.It is truly a blessing to be learning astrology from Swamiji aka Mr Vishal Saxena. Swamiji is truly one of a kind with a unique way of thinking and a very different approach to astrology. While many of the astrologers I've met here in India have tendencies of fear mongering and suggesting remedies to line their pockets, Swamiji offers practical advice without any sugarcoating. An important thing I learnt from him is that any birth chart can be utilized in a positive productive manner. And most importantly, the fact that existence knows what is best for us. Unlike any class I've been a part of, Swamiji encourages discussions that could even be considered beyond the subject of astrology. I would highly recommend these classes to anyone with the slightest bit of an interest in the subject. More than an astrology class, I would call it a spiritual awakening class.

23.My name is Pulkit and i was a part of the 2023 batch of Vedic Astrology by Vishal Saxena sir. The approach taken by sir is radically different from most astrologers, in these sense that he is direct and doesn't always push remedies that often wrongly suggested by astrologers as a money making exercise. The discussions are free wheeling and sir encourages us to speak our mind. If one is starting in astrology and wants to start from the basics, i think Vishal sir would be a perfect guide in the journey..

I wanted to share my feedback on the astrology course. Overall, I found it to be well-explained and thoughtfully structured, and the content was insightful. The depht of knowledge you bring to the course is impressive.

I also appreciated that the classes were recorded, as it allowed me to revisit the material at my own pace.

One area for potential improvement could be the audio quality. If you have access to a microphone, it might help make the recordings louder and clearer. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Overall, it was a great experience and feel like I learned valuable insights. Thank you for a great course.
