The number of combust planets in a chart actually shows the absence of father or father figure or his guidance in life. Remember that a planet gets combust because of Sun's heat and fire. Sun represents Father, so a combust planet shows that father or his guidance was never present in person's early life to learn things related to that planet.

Like, if Venus is combust then may be parents themselves were in a bad relationship and person didn't any good guidance from father on how to deal with relations.

If Mercury is combust then father was absent to guide person about how to deal with siblings or improve skills.

If Moon is combust then father may lack emotional touch which may make person detached or unemotional.

If Mars is combust then father didn't guide how to face the adversities in life with courage and that made person timid.

If Jupiter is combust then father was not there to plant good morals or values in child.

If Saturn is combust then father was not there to guide his child about right duties or career in life.

Now, it is not that this scene will remain for whole life. As father is absent to guide on these matters in early life, person will learn these lessons through life experiences and that's why a combust planet gives much better result in person's 30s. Till then, it is learning phase.

So, a very good question was raised on my last post on Combust Planets that Father is same person for all his children then why different children have different planets combust?

Excellent question and here are the main reasons I feel -

1. Father is same but children are different. As they are different children, majority of times they will receive different behavior from their parent. For example, I always felt that parents have more trust on the eldest child rather than youngest child. Youngest child is mostly treated as not so intelligent and sometimes even childish throughout life. So, what parents are doing unknowingly? They are boosting the confidence of the eldest child but they are not helping the confidence of younger child a bit.

2. Then different children may have different capabilities or weaknesses. As a parent, Father may focus on X area of life for a child and can neglect Y area of life but for another child he may focus on Y area of life and may neglect X. So in this example, although he is present in life but due to different requirements of children he is focusing/ignoring different areas of life.

3. Now Astrologically, suppose out of 2 children one has Venus Combust and other has Mercury combust. So, by karaka representations it looks like different areas of life got combust but what if Mercury is darakaraka of 2nd child or Mercury rules 7th house of 2nd child. It makes the same case that relationships are combust for both children. So, charts need to be read in entirety.

4. Then a lot depends on the karma we are carrying from past lives with that person who is now father in this life. If my karma with my father is related to power struggle then may be my career or authority related planets will be combust and if my karma with my father is related with relationship then my relationship oriented planets may be combust.

So, these are few reasons how different planets of different children of same parents can get combust. As I said, these are only few reasons. There can be many other reasons too. Again, nothing is generic and applicable on all parents. Hence, overall chart reading is necessary.

Capricorn is sign of Authority, Law and Government. It is ruled by Saturn which also represents the Law and Authority. Saturn is currently transiting in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is 12th sign from Capricorn. 12th house is house of losses So, house where Sagittarius falls becomes the house of loss of Authority & Government.

It makes Capricorn weak a bit. It means Authorities and Governments can be in weak position during this Saturn transit.

What is making condition worse is that Ketu is transiting in Capricorn. Ketu represents Isolation and Separation. So individually or collectively, people are going against Government or Authoritative People. Even individually, there are many people who want to leave their jobs and work independently. People are feeling isolated from authoritative people. We can see it more apparently at world level.

In India, Govt is facing heat for many reasons like Implementation of Demonetization, GST, Adhaar Scheme, Adhaar Data Leak and its authoritarian approach.

In USA, we have seen that Trump Govt is constantly facing criticism since the day 1 of taking power and issues are just multiplying almost everyday.

Even people in some great authority are facing the heat like Mark Zuckerberg, Steven Smith & Judiciary in India. Overall, next 2 years don't look like a great time for people in Authority and Governments.

Now, the million dollar question. Which is the best position of Saturn?

If we are understanding position where Saturn will give beneficial results or so-called "good results", then I am afraid it is none.

To understand this, we need to understand the bi-polar nature of life. Everything in life has its polar opposite. Happiness Vs Sadness, Joy Vs Sorrow, Prosperity Vs Poverty, Light Vs Darkness etc.

Now, Venus represents luxuries, conveniences and wealth. Hence, its polar opposite has to be there and that is Saturn which represents challenges, inconveniences, hardships and miseries. These are Saturn's characteristics. No matter where it is placed in chart, it will represent these very things. Just like, no matter where Venus is placed in chart, it shows from where you can get your wealth and conveniences.

Now, I usually get asked that why Saturn represents hardships in each of its position? Well, why you never asked as to why Venus represents Wealth in each of its position? 

So, Saturn is basically our challenges in life. Wherever it is placed that's where we will face biggest challenges in life and as Saturn's movement is slowest, consider it as life long challenges. Like -

Saturn in 1st house or Aries can bring challenges about finding our individuality or own unique path. 

Saturn in 2nd house or Taurus can bring challenges related to family, wealth and security. 

Saturn in 3rd house or Gemini can bring challenges related with siblings or running our business. 

Saturn in 4th house or Cancer can bring challenges related with home life or mother. 

Saturn in 5th house or Leo can bring challenges related with love/romance, children, education or creativity. 

Saturn in 6th house or Virgo can bring challenges related with work place, health, conflicts or litigation. 

Saturn in 7th house or Libra can bring challenges related with relationship or business. 

Saturn in 8th house or Scorpio can bring challenges related with dealing with constant major changes in life. 

Saturn in 9th house or Sagittarius can bring challenges in matters of Education, Higher Learning or dealing with Teachers.

Saturn in 10th house or Capricorn can bring challenges related with Career or Father. 

Saturn in 11th house or Aquarius can bring challenges related with income, gains, desires and finding the higher cause. 

Saaturn in 12th house or Pisces can bring challenges related with person's spiritual evolution.

So, we can understand why Saturn is Lord of Justice? Because it is same everywhere. In a way, it is easiest to interpret Saturn because it will remain same everywhere. It can become more challenging in debilitation (Aries) or in enemy signs of Leo or Scorpio but it can never be all good or beneficial by nature as most of us desire it to be.

So, no matter how much someone is trying to sugar-coat Saturn, it will remain the biggest challenge of our life and one day or the other or in one life or the other, we have to face it. So, it is better to open our eyes to reality and face Saturn as soon as possible.

Now, the benefits of Saturn. Saturn is the one which makes us realize our true potential. It presents blocks or obstacles in front of us, so that we can accept those blocks as challenges and over power them. That will make us realize our potential in life. Whenever we achieve something in life, we become happy? Now, is that happiness really connected with that achievement or it is connected with those obstacles which you over powered on the way to achievement? I feel it is the latter.

Also, I always say during consultation that we should take the list of top 10 people in any field and we will find that they all followed their Saturn, i.e. they picked one work and did it whole life so much so that they became perfect at it. So, this is what Saturn wants everyone to do. To continuously put so much efforts in something that you become perfect at it. There is no shortcut with Saturn. We say that after 35 years of age, Saturn matures. Actually, after 35 we mature. We realize that we can't escape Saturn. We start surrendering to Saturn. In many cases, person had already done all hard work till 35, so after 35 he reaps the results. So, it is not that Saturn has become mild after 35 but we have bowed down to Saturn. And honestly, we have no other option.
