So, let's have some tips today about career reading through houses in a chart -

1. 10th house is considered as main house related with Career but it is actually the house of authorities. It shows person's own authority in the world plus this house applies to career when person is working under someone else's authority, either Private or Govt. So, if you are in job setup then 10th house applies to you for career reading.

2. Then 6th house is also a house considered for service/jobs. But again, it is basically a house of your daily work life. It just shows what your daily work life should be? A Singer's daily work can be singing, A sportsperson daily work can be playing his sport and my daily work is reading charts. Just because 90% of population follows the daily work life of doing a job, they made it the house of jobs. But I consider 6th house and 6th house lord position to decide what should be someone's daily work?

3. Then if you are business person then your career will be seen from 3rd house, 7th house and 11th house.

4. 3rd house is seen for career for someonewho is sole proprietor and running his own business as it is house of self-efforts.

5. 7th house is seen for career for someone who is in partnership business as it is house of partnerships. 7th house is seen as house of business as it is about interacting and dealing with masses and other people who can be your current or potential customers. So, a strong 7th house shows person's ability to start his business and deal/interact with masses.

But 8th house is more important than 7th house to sustain that business. It is because 8th house is 2nd from 7th house, hence it represents wealth from business or as I call it business benefits. Any business can sustain itself over a long period of time, if it is able to make some money out of it. So, if we are looking for possibility of anyone running a successful business then along with 7th house, we must always check the 8th house condition. That would show if person would be able to sustain that business over a long period of time or not.

6. 11th house is seen for career for someone who is an entrepreneur, who is probably running a few businesses.

7. Besides this, Sun represents Career & Authority. Now, Sun gets debilitated in Libra which is its weakest dignity. It doesn't mean that people with Sun in Libra can't have any authority or career. As Libra is sign of business, Sun in Libra only means that they will find their career and authority through business. They can have some serious confidence issues which can only be removed by gaining confidence while dealing with challenges in life and career. Similarly, if Sun is eclipsed in chart, at axis of Rahu/Ketu, it can give delayed success in career and confidence issues which again can be dealt only through facing challenges in life and dealing with adversities.

So, Mars is all set for its next transit in Cancer from tomorrow for next 45 days. As 45 days is good enough time for an event to take place, I place more importance on Mars's transits among planets of shorter duration of transits. At the same time, I like to use Mars transit along with other planetary transits to see the kind of joint impact they are making for us.

So, here are the important points -

1. Mars transit in Cancer will be from 22nd June, 2019 to 7th Aug, 2019. 1st of all it will bring some relief to Gemini sign where 4 planets' energy is accumulated right now.

2. Mars is debilitated in Cancer which makes this transit more troublesome. Mars is weakest here. Now, what does it mean?

3. Mars represents our actions, efforts, anger, dominance, will-power, courage & ability to fight etc. Now, when Mars is debilitated or weak in transit then it shows that our actions and efforts can be in wrong directions. We can be spending our time and energy in useless pursuits.

4. Our anger or aggression can be ill-directed. We can throw our frustration or anger at people who don't deserve it. Anyways, I don't think anyone deserves anyone else's anger or frustration. But as Mars is in weakest dignity, our aggression can be misdirected.

5. As Mars is also karaka of violence or bloodshed, events like accidents, violent activities and surgeries can be on a high. People need to be careful while travelling or driving.

6. These negative events or activities can be more prominent if Mars is transiting through dushthana houses, i.e. 6th house, 8th house and 12th house in anyone's chart or losing its Dig Bala in 4th house. Such people need to take utmost care for their health and should not throw their frustration on others.

7. As Mars rules Aries and Scorpio signs, people of these 2 ascendants or Moon sign also need to take extra care regarding their physical health. They can feel an overall lethargy or no desire to make any effort whatsoever. Same thing can be seen for Cancer ascendant as Mars will be transiting their 1st house of physical body.

8. Now, every house represents some relations in our life. So, whichever house Mars is transiting in your chart, your aggression can be directed towards people represented by that house. Like, an Aries ascendant person can find relation with Mother or home environment charged up whereas a Gemini ascendant person will feel the pinch in family life and can have aggressive speech. So, we need to be careful while dealing with such people to maintain the cordial relation. Like, from Sagittarius to Pisces ascendant, Mars will be transiting in houses which represent romantic relationship or conflicts in relation. Hence, they need to show more patience to sustain their relationship.

9. As Venus enters in to Gemini towards the month-end we will revisit this analysis to know why coming 3-4 months can be very tough for relationship matters.

10. Now, these results can be more prominent if someone is under Mars dasha (MD/AD/PD) or someone is born with Mars in Cancer or in enemy sign. They can see the results apparently on the face.

11. Finally, there will be some joint impacts taking place during this transit -

a. Jupiter will be aspecting Mars in Cancer from Scorpio. So, the house where Cancer falls in your chart will have joint impact of Jupiter and Mars. As Mars rules Scorpio and it is debilitated in transit, it will weaken Jupiter in Scorpio for 45 days and then, as Jupiter expands things, its aspect on Mars in Cancer is going to expand anger and aggression of Mars. So, I won't like to think that Jupiter's aspect is saving grace here. At least not in Jeeva Karakas.

b. Rahu from Gemini and Mars from Cancer will aspect Libra sign. Rahu+Mars creates scene of over-aggressiveness. Hence, we can be over-aggressive, controlling or dominating related to the things of the house where Libra falls in chart. Like for me, it is 12th house of expenses. So, it can make me over-spend. So, I should keep my spending habits in check.

c. Then most importantly, Rahu from Gemini, Mars from Cancer and Saturn from Sagittarius will aspect Aquarius sign. Rahu-Saturn-Mars together can only create immense stress for things related with house where Aquarius falls and may require us to work really hard towards that house. So, whichever house Aquarius falls in your chart, you can see immense stress.

d. Last but not the least, from 17th July to 17th Aug, at least 3 planets will be transiting in Cancer at any given time. It will make us focus and deal with issues related with the house where Cancer falls in our chart.

Again, these results will be more prominent if you are under dasha of these planets and we need to become aware to take proactive measures against any such event. Final result or event always depend on overall chart, dashas and transits of all planets.

So, let's have a re-look at difficult transits we are going through right now, especially in terms of relationship matters, as I was discussing in last live session.

1. As we know that this whole year we have this difficult transit of Saturn-Ketu in Sagittarius. So, whichever house these two planets are roaming around in a chart, things related with that house may come in life after immense hard work and perseverance. Also, the results of that house will be very minimum. Needless to say that people and relations of that house would require to do lots of compromise to sustain the relationship. It can be the story of any relationship, not only husband-wife or boyfriend-girlfriend.

2. Then we discussed in detail about Mars transit in Cancer through a recent post which can lead to anger & aggressive behavior being thrown at people and leading to conflicts and even violence. We all can understand that such behavior is not good to sustain any long term and meaningful relationship. So, Mars transit for next 45 days is also not helping relations at any level.

3. And then the karaka of relationship Venus is about to have a transit from Gemini to Virgo (from June-end to mid-Oct) which looks like to be very troublesome in relationship matters. Normally every year, Venus transit from Cancer to Virgo is troublesome because Cancer and Leo are enemy signs of Venus and Virgo is debilitation sign for Venus but this year this trouble starts from Gemini itself, which is otherwise a friendly sign for Venus, and the reasons are as follows –

a. Venus is in Taurus and it is already within 15 degrees of Sun in Gemini which shows that it is getting closer to be combust which will continue till Sep-end. Combustion of Venus normally leads to ego clashes in relationship. Now, in relationship, you can either have ego or relationship. Normally, in this battle of Sun & Venus, Sun/Ego wins and Relationship/Venus loses.

b. Then Venus will be in Gemini sign which is although a friendly sign for Venus, but if we see the companions of Venus in Gemini this year then we may realise that there is nothing friendly about this Venus in Gemini. Venus will be with Sun-Rahu and it will get aspect of Saturn-Ketu from Sagittarius. So, gentle Venus will remain completely beaten-up in company with 4 malefic planets. During this time, 1st it will be closely combust with Sun then it will be between Sun-Rahu, i.e. within Paap Kartari Yoga (PKY). Then Venus will be with Rahu in Gemini. This is also eclipse month which anyways is an unstable time.

c. And then Venus will enter Cancer, an enemy sign. It will be within another PKY between Rahu-Mars. Cancer is sign of emotions and normally, when Venus is in Cancer, people like to adjust in relation due to emotions involved. But this year, as Mars is in Cancer which is all about aggressive behaviour, we can’t expect this emotional adjustment from both sides this year. Mars-Venus in Cancer can actually lead to physical/emotional abuse and violence in relation.

d. Then Venus-Mars will continue to be together in Leo, another enemy sign for Venus and a sign of ego. Relationship will again suffer due to aggression of Mars and ego of Leo. As Sun will also be there in Leo, it will keep Venus under combustion and ego conflicts will continue to trouble relations. Venus will also get aspect of Ketu from Sagittarius in Leo.

e. Then finally, Venus will be in Virgo where it is debilitated/weakest. Venus will also get Saturn’s aspect from Sagittarius which will only make things difficult for Venus. This can be the transit which can bring the culmination point after physical/emotional abuse of Cancer and ego clashes of Leo where people can consider breaking-up things.

f. As we can see that coming 3-4 months are not good for relationship and the way to sustain relationship in this time is to 1st of all be aware that it is not a favourable phase for relationship and then one should keep minimum to no expectations from relationship or partner. But the biggest difficulty is that it is very difficult to find two people with this same type of awareness in relationship. Even if one person is not willing to compromise, you can’t expect other person to compromise all the time. So, awareness from both sides is necessary.

Now, this applies to all types of relationship as Venus is karaka of any relationship but why it happens that biggest challenges are faced in husband-wife or boyfriend-girlfriend relation? It is because you can’t divorce or separate from your parents or siblings. You can’t divorce any other relative from your life. So, either willingly or unwillingly, you have to live your other relations. Only in this husband-wife or boyfriend-girlfriend relation, we see an option of moving out, which is very necessary in abusive relations or with uncompromising partners, which makes this relationship all the more difficult. Normally, people ask me how will be their married life? And I ask back if other relations in their life are perfect or ideal? If other relations have their own difficulties and challenges then how you can expect this one relationship to be perfect or ideal? So, main thing is to develop awareness regarding challenges in relationship and keep expectation level to reasonable level. It can help in sustaining these type of difficult transits.
