- Moola – As Sagittarius starts with Moola which represents research work, it shows someone who is in research oriented education.
- Purva-Ashadha –It comes after Moola where we go for higher education and segregate useful information from not so useful information.
Various Combinations - Now, any combination between these houses, planets, signs and nakshatras can create an Academician. Any combination between these planets, houses, signs & nakshatras where energy exchanges between them will be enough to make an Academician in proper dasha time.
Atma Karaka or Amatya Karaka - If Moon, Mercury, Jupiter or Venus becomes person's Atma Karaka or Amatya Karaka, then things can be more prominent to become an Academician as these planets represent teaching and guiding others.
Mahadashas - But as always, dashas will activate houses or planets and person will have realization at that time to take up Academics as Career.
Example Chart – Let’s take the chart of someone who was given a name of Ocean of Knowledge for his great services in field of Education, Shri Ishwarchand Vidyasagar (September 26, 1820, 00:30:00 am, Midnapur).
- Cancer Ascendant – Life Path of taking care and nourishing others.
- Moon – Ascendant Lord Moon, which itself is one of important planets for teaching career, is in 10th house/Aries of Career.
- Venus - Another teacher planet, is sitting in ascendant which shows his life path can be impacted by field of teaching.
- 3rd house & 9th house axis – 5 out of 9 planets are in 3rd house/9thhouse axis which shows life focus on collecting information and then sharing/publishing information.
- Jupiter – 9th house lord Jupiter is in 8th house of research or serving other people. It shows his service to people through his research and higher education.
- Moon was Atma Karaka and Venus was Amatya Karaka.
- Last but not the least, from the beginning of his life, he was under Moon MD (Ascendant Lord), Mars MD (10th house lord where Moon is placed), Rahu MD (placed in 9th house), Jupiter MD (9th house lord) and Saturn MD (again placed in 9th house). So, whole life Moon or 9thhouse remained active and hence the life was dedicated towards higher education and academics.
