Today, let’s see what planetary placements can create someone an Army Man or Police Professional. It can also be someone in any work related with safeguarding others’ person or property.

I think we can cover this series by theory and one practical example of chart. Like, 1st I will tell what can make a person enter a particular profession and then we can see a chart of a person in same profession to see theory working in practicality.

Important Houses - Following are important houses for an Army/Police Professional -

• 1st house - 1st house is always the most important house of any chart as it represents the person and his life path. Wherever 1st house lord is placed, it gives an indication related with life path the person is supposed to follow.
• 3rd house – 3rd house is the house of will-power and courage. In such professions, you need lots of courage.
• 4th house – 4th house is house of home land and private properties. Most of the time, Army/Police people are involved in safeguarding home land and property or lives of people.
• 5th house – It is house of Politics. In democracies, these professionals serve the orders of politicians.
• 8th house – It is again house of serving other people through whichever ways. Also, it is house of chaotic environment, in which these professionals normally work.
• 10th house – 10th house is main house of work or career. Its association with above houses can lead someone into sports as Career.
• 11th house – 11th house is house of big organisations, like Army or Police Dept and also a house of serving humanity which they certainly do.

Important Signs - Following are important signs -

• Fire Signs – All fire signs provide much needed fire to work in such capacities.  
• Scorpio – Being the 8th sign, it has the energy of 8th house of chaotic environment.  
• Capricorn – A sign of Govt Law, and Authority. A soldier is best when he works under Law.

Important Planets - Following are important planets -

• Mars – Mars is the main planet for Army or Police Profession.
• Sun – Sun represents Govt. Again, a Soldier is supposed to work under Govt.
• Saturn – Saturn represents Discipline, Hard Work, Perseverance and Law, things which a good soldier needs to adhere to.
• Ketu - As Ketu represents weapons, its connection with Mars is necessary for anyone who uses weapons on daily basis. 

Important Nakshatras - Following are important nakshatras -

• Mars ruled Nakshatras – All Mars ruled nakshatras become important in giving the drive, courage and competitive abilities to person.
• Ardra – It again represents chaotic situations under which a soldier needs to work.
• Magha – It represents the Royal Throne which a soldier is supposed to obey.
• Uttarashadha – As it is ruled by Sun and portion of this nakshatra falls in Capricorn sign of Law, Govt & Authority and ruled by Saturn, it becomes important here.

Various Combinations - Now, any combination between these houses, planets, signs and nakshatras can create a person in Army, Police and any service of safeguarding others. Any combination between these planets, houses, signs & nakshatras where energy exchanges between them will be enough to make such professional in proper dasha time.

Atma Karaka or Amatya Karaka - If Mars becomes person's Atma Karaka or Amatya Karaka, then things can be more prominent to become an Army or Police etc.

Mahadashas - But as always, dashas will activate houses or planets and person will have realization at that time to take up such profession as Career.

Example Chart – Again, chart of someone whom I know. He was Captain in Army and fought all 3 wars of his time (9th July, 1945, 4 pm, Fatehgarh, UP) -

• Scorpio Ascendant – A life path of dealing with chaotic events and changes.
• Mars – Ascendant Lord Mars in own sign Aries in 6th house of Service/Jobs. Clearly linking his job with Mars nature of work.
• Ketu - Ketu aspects from 2nd house to Mars in 6th house and brings the impact of weapons in his job. 
• 8th house – 4 planets in 8th house including Sun-Saturn shows life focus on serving people among chaotic events.
• Jupiter – Jupiter in 10th house/Leo shows a lifelong benefit from Govt and people in authority.
• Mars becomes Amatya Karaka at 27 degree.
• He remained in Army during whole of Saturn dasha, lord of his 3rdhouse of courage and 4th house of home land. So during Saturn dasha, he served his home land with his courage and dealing with chaotic situations in War.
