Today, let’s see what planetary placements can create someone a Fashion Industry Professional. It can be any work related with Fashion, Beauty, Cosmetics, Beautification of Places like Interior Decoration or anything related with beautifying things or people.

I think we can cover this series by theory and one practical example of chart. Like, 1st I will tell what can make a person enter a particular profession and then we can see a chart of a person in same profession to see theory working in practicality.

Important Houses - Following are important houses -

• 1st house - 1st house is always the most important house of any chart as it represents the person and his life path. Wherever 1st house lord is placed, it gives an indication related with life path the person is supposed to follow.
• 2nd house – It is the main house of wealth, hence it is obviously important. 
• 3rd house – It is house of skills and interests. Person needs to be skilful to follow such a profession.   
• 4th house – If someone is interested in interior decoration, then 4thhouse becomes important.
• 5th house – 5th house is house of creativity.  Following a career in fashion or beauty industry is very much a 5th house matter. 
• 8th house – It is house of serving other people, through whichever ways.
• 10th house – 10th house is main house of work or career. Its association with above houses can lead someone into fashion or beauty industry as Career.
• 12th house – As it is also house of imagination, it works like 5th house of creativity as to be creative, you need to be imaginative.

Important Signs - Following are important signs -

• Gemini – Gemini helps as it is sign of expressing yourself in some or the other way.
• Leo – Leo is the main sign of creativity and media/fashion industry.
• Pisces – The sign of imagination again.

Important Planets - Following are important planets -

• Venus – Venus is the main planet here as it represents beauty itself.
• Mercury – Mercury represents skills and interests, hence it has an important role to play.
• Venus-Mercury combination creates a potential case of someone going into field of fashion or beautification as beauty and skills come together.
• Moon – Moon is another planet which likes creative environment and works well there.
• Rahu – Rahu is illusion and what a beauty/fashion professional does is to just create an illusion.
• Ketu – Ketu’s association with Mercury or Venus can give someone a research ability in beauty related things and skills which can help in improving.

Important Nakshatras - Following are important nakshatras -

• Venus ruled nakshatras – All Venus ruled nakshatras become important here as they all would have energy of Venus as a planet of beauty and fashion.
• Rohini – As Rohini was the most beautiful wife of Moon, it becomes important here.
• Chitra – A Nakshatra of Creativity in itself. It is of presenting something or someone in a beautiful way. As it is ruled by Lord Vishwakarma, it is important nakshatra for interior decoration like work
• Revati – A Nakshatra of deepest level of creativity.  

Various Combinations - Now, any combination between these houses, planets, signs and nakshatras can someone go into fashion/beauty related field. Any combination between these planets, houses, signs & nakshatras where energy exchanges between them will be enough to make a Fashion/Beauty Professional in proper dasha time.

Atma Karaka or Amatya Karaka - If Venus-Mercury becomes person's Atma Karaka or Amatya Karaka, then things can be more prominent to become a Fashion/Beauty Professional.

Mahadashas - But as always, dashas will activate houses or planets and person will have realization at that time to take up Fashion/Beauty field as Career.

Example Chart – It is planetary position of someone, I am told, who is working as Fashion Designer - 

• As we can see that she is Virgo ascendant and 1st good thing is that Mercury is exalted in Virgo. Hence, Mercury’s skills are excellent. Also, Virgo is sign of perfection and she can be interested in reaching perfection in her skills related work.
• An interesting thing here is that Mercury represents Skin. As clothes are 2nd layer of skin over us, Clothing is represented by Mercury too along with Venus. And she has recently launched her own clothing brand. 
• Sun is karaka of Career and it is in 12th house/Leo/Purva Phalguni. All 3 important for a creative career.
• 3rd house of Business has Rahu there which indicates about business where creative illusion is necessary. 
• But best points in her chart are Venus in Cancer and Moon in Taurus. This creates parivartan yoga between Moon and Venus. Hence, mind becomes more creative in beauty related matters. Moon with Ketu in Rohini gives her ability to research in beauty related things. 
• This also creates a Shubh Kartari Yoga for 10th house/Gemini of career and ensures a good career for her in Business (Gemini).
• Although, Mars-Jupiter are Atma Karaka and Amatya Karaka but as they both are in Mercury ruled sign Virgo with exalted Mercury, Mercury is ruling this conjunction to a great deal and both Mars-Jupiter are working under the impact of Mercury.
• Last but not the least, she is under Rahu MD and Rahu is in 3rd house which is Upachaya House, hence success can be seen in her 30s. As she is not in her 30s now, she needs to persevere through her business till then.
• She can expect to get some benefits coming her way during Rahu-Mercury dasha as Mercury is exalted. Then from Rahu-Venus dasha, she can expect good success in her Venus oriented entrepreneurship (11th house).
• Success is there but needs perseverance to achieve same.
