Sun in Cancer.

A thing to remember here is that these posts are strictly meant for the particular planet position. Like, today we are looking at Sun in Cancer, so the description given here may change for you if your Sun is although in the sign of Cancer but with conjunction with or aspected by other planets.

So, lets see what Sun can do in the sign of Cancer. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent -

Sun represents Personality, King, Government, Father, Authority, Career, Top Positions, Ego, Self Esteem, Health, Education etc.

Cancer is 4th sign of Zodiac Belt, hence it represents the things represented by 4th house like Mother, Mother's care, Emotions and Nourishment etc. Cancer is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras namely Punarvasu, Pushyami and Ashlesha. Cancer's lord is Moon. 

So, when Sun is in Cancer, 1st of all it gives a very emotional bond with both the parents as Sun represents Father and Cancer is sign of Mother. Person is emotionally attached to parents. Father takes mother's role in the family, which means father is one who is more emotional and caring. It also means father may be in Real Estate, Nursing or Restaurant related business. The person himself will have a very emotional personality or attitude. It can even be scary emotional for others. Career wise also, their is a high chance that they will follow the foot steps of their father and will be in similar career. 

Now, the question comes about the level of emotions person may exhibit? So, it again would depend on the Nakshatra Sun is sitting in. If Sun is in Punarvasu Nakshatra, then emotions will be directed by the condition of Jupiter in horoscope as Punarvasu's lord is Jupiter. If Sun is in Pushyami Nakshatra, then emotions will be directed by the condition of Saturn in horoscope as Pushyami's lord is Saturn. Again, If Sun is in Ashlesha Nakshatra, then emotions will be directed by the condition of Mercury in horoscope as Ashlesha's lord is Mercury.

Also, as Sun is in the sign of Cancer and Cancer is ruled by Moon, Moon's condition would have biggest impact on this person's emotions as Moon itself represents emotions. Now, if Moon is in Taurus (Exalted), person will display balanced emotions. If it is in Cancer, little more emotional. If Moon is in Scorpio (Debilitated), no bound to this fellows emotions, sometimes utterly unnecessary emotions and over-reactions. If Moon is hemmed under Paap-Kartari Yoga or receiving aspects of strong malefics like Rahu and Saturn, then it may even be a case of a person being totally emotionless or dettached.
