Moon in Scorpio/Debilitated Moon

A thing to remember here is that these posts are strictly meant for the particular planet position. Like, today we are looking at Moon in Scorpio, so the description given here may change for you if your Moon is although in the sign of Scorpio but with conjunction or aspected by other planets.

So, lets see what Moon can do in the sign of Scorpio. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent -

Moon represents Mind, Emotions, Mother, Local Government, Peace of Mind, Home Environment, Water, Milk etc. 

Scorpio is the 8th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the things and energy related with 8th house of horoscope like Sudden Events, Secrecy, Dark World, Occult Science, Research, Inheritance, Serving Others, Taxes etc. Besides these things sign of Scorpio also represent transformation, means changing the whole nature upside down. Now with Scorpio, scary things start in Astrology. This is one sign which is favorite of every Astrologer, because it has maximum secrets, so every astrologer gets maximum scope of researching. This is sign about which no one can tell with precision that what will happen to the planets in it, as it is sign of secrecy itself. Scorpio is one sign where no planet is happy. Scorpio is also one of those unique signs which has 2 rulers, i.e. Mars and Ketu. Scorpio is the sign which shows our Karmic Debt in this world. Scorpio consists of next set of 2 and half nakshatras, i.e. Vishakha, Anuradha and Jyeshtha. 

When Moon comes into Scorpio, it gets debilitated at 3 degrees, i.e. the weakest point of Moon, and here is the reason why? Moon represents Mind and Emotions, which needs to remain balanced and stable to feel secured and safe. Scorpio is the sign of sudden ups and downs and unexpected sudden events. Now, if you are going through one sudden event to another, then surely your mind is not going to remain stable or balanced. That's why Moon is not happy in the sign of Scorpio, just like none other planet is happy. That's how it becomes debilitated in Scorpio. 

So, is it all bad? Not really. The area where this Moon really helps is in research. It is a research oriented mind. They can research about anything with great ease. They can be very much interested in occult, mysticism and all the secret matters of the world. They can be seen as professional occultist or mystic or anyone in research field. They are very intense or passionate in matters of love but as mind is at weakest point, they may not choose the best of partners for themselves. 

As Moon also represents mother, it shows a very intense relation with mother. Mother can also be interested in all these things stated above.

Meditation is the only way by which Moon can feel little better. 

Again, impact of Moon's effect in Scorpio will be controlled by the various nakshatra Moon might be in. Like, if Moon is in Vishakha nakshatra, its lord Jupiter's position will effect Moon's working in Scorpio. If Moon is in Anuradha nakshatra, then Saturn will impact Moon's role in Scorpio. If Moon is in Jyeshtha nakshatra, then its lord Mercury will have its impact on Moon's work in Scorpio. 

Last but not the least, we have to look at position and conditions of both lords of Scorpio, i.e. Mars and Ketu, to finally come to know what is going on with this Moon. So, overall reading is much more necessary than a particular planet in sign position.
