Ketu in Virgo

Today, Ketu in Virgo. 

A thing to remember here is that these posts are strictly meant for the particular planet position. Like, today we are looking at Ketu in Virgo, so the description given here may change for you if your Ketu is although in the sign of Virgo but in conjunction with or aspected by other planets. - 

Just like Rahu, Ketu also represents illusion as both are illusionary planets but the difference is that Ketu is also the one who removes the illusion and brings enlightenment. Besides this, Ketu represents isolation, separation, spirituality,mystical world, other dimension means things related to alien world, also represents Son, Dog, Intuition, research ability, curious nature, things which we have already achieved in past life and not much concerned to perform in this life. 

Virgo is the 6th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents almost all the things which are represented by the 6th house of horoscope like Debts, Diseases, Obstacles, Serving the under-privileged, Service Life, etc. Besides this, Virgo represents analytical or critical skills of people, being perfectionist and healing abilities. Virgo's basic representation is the lady coming in boat with wheat and herbs in her hands. So, Virgo is basically a sign of healing. Virgo consists of next set of 2 and half nakshatra. i.e. Uttara-Phalguni, Hasta and Chitra. Virgo's lord is Mercury.

Recently I have come across of the view that Rahu and Ketu don't have aspects on 5th or 9th house, for the simple reason that they are shadow planets and for aspects you need a sight not shadow. I am yet to verify it on at least 50 charts, so for now I will continue with traditional approach of 5th and 9th aspects of Ketu. 

So when Ketu comes into the sign of Virgo, these people are not much into dealing with conflicts and disputes of people around them. Virgo is sign of analysis, details and analysis. Ketu is research and investigation. So, Ketu in Virgo can make a person who can work with numbers whole day. It is like heaven for them to research about all the data and details. So, they can be great accountants, auditors and financial experts but they just want to be away from daily office politics. 

Now, the impact of these traits will be different for different people based upon the Nakshatra Ketu is in. If Ketu is in Uttara-Phalguni Nakshatra, then Ketu will be impacted by Sun's position as Sun is lord of Uttara-Phalguni Nakshatra. When Ketu is in Hasta Nakshatra, then Ketu will be impacted by Moon's position as Moon is lord of Hasta Nakshatran. If Ketu is in Chitra Nakshatra, then Mars will be impacting as Chitra is Mars' Nakshatra. 

Sign lord wise, Mercury is ruler of Virgo, so Ketu's functioning is very much dependent on the condition of Mercury.
