Jupiter in Capricorn/Debilitated Jupiter. 

A thing to remember here is that these posts are strictly meant for the particular planet position. Like, today we are looking at Jupiter in Capricorn, so the description given here may change for you if your Jupiter is although in the sign of Capricorn but with conjunction with or aspected by other planets.

So, lets see what Jupiter can do in Capricorn without any conjunction or aspect from any other planet. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent --

Jupiter is the most benefic planet and it represents all the auspicious things like Knowledge, Wisdom, Law, Guru, Spirituality, Religion, Philosophy, Literature, Elderly People. For a girl, Jupiter also represents Husband.

Capricorn is the 10th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents many things related with 10th house of horoscope like Law and Order, Government, Authority, Organisation, Discipline etc. Besides it also represents World outside your home and people, Fear and Anxiety etc. Capricorn is consisted of next 2 and half Nakshatra, i.e. Uttar-Ashadha, Shravana and Dhanishtha. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and that's why it represents Fear and Anxiety.

So, we have seen that Jupiter is exalted in Cancer at 5 degrees where it is an emotional and caring teacher. Likewise, exactly 180* opposite to Cancer is Capricorn sign where at 5 degrees again it will be debilitated, means it will be its weakest point. 

Why?

So, Jupiter remains knowledge, wisdom & teachings and Capricorn is sign of  Rules & Regulations. So, now teacher is no more an emotional or caring teacher but he is a teacher working under rules. This suppresses the basic nature of Jupiter to share his knowledge and wisdom. Hence, Jupiter is weak here. 

So, in this sign Jupiter, which generally represents knowledge, wisdom, higher learning and teachings, doesn't get the full liberty of sharing its knowledge. It frustrates the energy of Jupiter, hence best results may be far-fetched dreams. In some situations, person himself can become selfish as to why I should share my knowledge if I am not getting anything in return? This crushes the Satvic energy of Jupiter. These people look for recognition and authority in exchange of knowledge but they need to realize that rewards will automatically come once they are ready to share. As Jupiter is Morale and it is weak, it shows that this person can have low morale where they may not mind speaking lies or having an extra-marital affair. So, all these things can be seen from Jupiter in Capricorn. 

As always, Jupiter's role in Capricorn can be effected by the nakshatra Jupiter is in. Like, if Jupiter is in Uttar-Ashadha Nakshatra, we have to look at Sun's position as Uttar-Ashadha's lord is Sun. If Jupiter is in Shravana Nakshatra, then we need to look at Moon's position as Shravana's lord is Moon. Likewise, in Dhanishtha Nakshatra, it will be effected by Mars. A good thing is that all these Nakshatra Lords are friendly to Jupiter, so their good position is going to help the Jupiter. 

Sign-lord wise, Capricorn's lord Saturn's position is going to decide how Jupiter is going to behave in this sign.
