Meaning of Venus's Transit

Today, we will try to understand Venus’s transit and its impact on Human Life. Let’s see the things important for understanding this – 

Venus - Venus is Beauty, Desire and Love, Liquid Money. Venus is the main significator of marriage. Venus represents girlfriend or wife for a man. Venus is the significator of all relations, may it be husband-wife or mother-daughter. Philosophically speaking, Venus is also the cause of all the sufferings in our life. How? Because Venus represents our desires and we get pain and suffering in our life only when our desires are not fulfilled..

Transit Time – Venus transits through a sign in about 25 days. 

Mahadasha/Antardasha – Person will be most impacted by Venus’s transit if he is also under Venus’s Mahadasha or Antardasha. 

Venus’s Dignity – First important thing to see is Venus’s dignity in Birth Chart. If it is well placed in Own/Exalted/Friendly Sign then it shows a strong foundation for Venus and Venus related things. 

Transiting Sign – Likewise, we have to be sure of Venus’s dignity during transit. If Venus is transiting through Own/Exalted/Friendly sign then good results are expected. 

House Ruler – One of the most important things is to keep in mind as to which house Venus rules with its signs Taurus & Libra signs in your chart. For Aries Ascendant, it will rule 2nd house and 7th house but for Virgo Ascendant, it will rule 2nd house and 9th house. Now, wherever it goes into transits, Venus will bring the energy of the house it rules in your chart. Like, if you are an Aquarius Ascendant then Venus rules 4th house with Taurus sign and 9th house with Libra sign. 4th house is Home, Home Land & Mother and 9th house is Far Distant Lands, Luck/Fortune & Higher Education etc. So, wherever it goes in transit, person will be feeling the energy of 4th house and 9th house in transiting house. Like, Venus going into 2nd house, person will be interested in gaining wealth from mother, real estate or through far distant lands as 2nd house and Venus both represent Wealth. 

Impact of Venus’s Transit – Here, we need to keep in mind few things – 

• Venus’s transit lasts about 25 days. It is not a big enough time period to make a profound prediction. At the same time, it doesn’t mean that Venus doesn’t do anything in those 25 days. But by the time we start getting/noticing results of Venus in a particular house or it starts setting stage for any important event, Venus moves to another house. So, to use Venus in prediction, it is necessary to see when Venus is going to retrograde in transit. At that time, it stays in a sign for about 5 months. Then we can use Venus in making prediction. Venus retrograde happens once in 18 months. 
• Another thing is that Venus is a Gentle Planet like Moon. Hence, in majority of cases, Venus won’t be able to impact other planets but will be impacted by them. Only time when Venus impacts another planet is when it is impacting Moon and Mercury. Rest all planets are much more powerful than Venus. Hence, it is another planet which can be easily inflicted by Malefics like Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. 
• Last but not the least, understand Venus purely as Love, things we love to do. It represents same thing in Birth Chart. Now, as Venus transits through houses for about 25 days, it will show that we will love to do things related with that house. Of course, dignity in birth chart and during transit will change the end result as to the kind of results we are getting in end but common thing is that we would love to get involved with things related with the house Venus is transiting. 

So, here we go – 

• In 1st house – Venus is in 1st house and person is in love with himself/herself. It means person may be very aware of his looks. He will give extra time to look better. This can also be time when a love story can begin in life. Overall, the mood of person will be pleasant, happy and loving during this transit. 
• In 2nd house – Person would love to spend time with his family. He will love to check the wealth aspect of life. This transit can bring good wealth in family. Person will be looking to spend some quality and loving time with family. This is a transit directed towards family. Person might be interested in singing during this transit.
• In 3rd house – Now is the time to nurture some hobbies, interests and skills. Person would love to talk nicely to siblings and neighbours. He would love to have a short distance travel. Person may become too much of a sweet-talker during this time and would love to have great relation with siblings.
• In 4th house – It is the time to beautify home. Person would love to stay at home during this time. He would love to spend time with Mother. Some modification work can go in home or person may bring some luxurious and convenience related item at home. Person will have peace of mind. 
• In 5th house – Person would love to be in love. This can be a time to be in love or person will be highly creative and skilful with his hobbies and interests. Person would love to spend time with loved ones or kids or may like to read what he loves. Perfect time to go for some movies or enhancing your own creativity. 
• In 6th house – Venus’s highest representation is Service and when it is in 6th house, person would love to serve others. He will work like volunteer and serve those who are socially backward and under-privileged. This time also gives love towards Animals. It can also show someone healing and helping people. This is a service oriented time. 
• In 7th house – Now, its all about relationship, spouse, marriage and love. A new relation can begin or person’s marriage time can be predicted precisely through this transit. Person would love to connect with other people but this transit is purely relation oriented. 
• In 8th house – It is time to do some serious research. Person would love to do some research related with occult, mysticism and hidden information. Person may be interested in serving other people and gaining from other’s wealth. He may gain an inheritance or some gift from in-laws. But overall, this transit will be about searching secret matters. 
• In 9th house – This is travelling time. Person would love to travel to far distant lands. He would love to read about different Religions and Philosophies. He may serve a Guru-like person. He would love to Teach, Preach and Counsel others. 
• In 10th house – This shows a beautiful time at work or with Father. It shows a pleasant time spent with colleagues. It doesn’t show much of hectic or stressed environment at work. This also shows person will keep a pleasant image at work and everyone would like to have him around. Public image will be of a pleasant and loving person.
• In 11th house – This is time to make some gains. Person may receive some R&R at work or he may get Promotion/Hike/Bonus. This is good time to connect with Friends, Network Circles and Elder Siblings. Person would love to serve a higher cause and bring social welfare. This is good time for monetary gains too. 
• In 12th house – As I said, Venus’s highest representation is Service and in 12th house it manifests in best possible way. Person will be devoted towards spiritual service. He will be interested in visiting spiritual places and providing services there. He would love to connect with Foreign People and a love story can begin in foreign lands. 

So, this is how Venus’s transits through all the houses may work but lots will depend upon dasha, dignity of Venus in birth chart & transit and planet it is transiting over.
