Venus is beauty, desire and love, liquid money, Venus is beauty, desire and love. Venus is the main significator of marriage. Venus represents girlfriend or wife for a man. Venus is the significator of all relations, may it be husband-wife or mother-daughter. Philosophically speaking, Venus is also the cause of all the sufferings in our life. How? Because Venus represents our desires and we get pain and suffering in our life only when our desires are not fulfilled.

8th house is house of secrecy, occult knowledge, longevity, transformation, death and re-birth, In laws family, joint wealth with spouse etc.

As Venus is planet of love and 8th house is house of secrecy, this placement of Venus can give secret love affairs when nobody knows that person has a love affair going. It also brings lots of changes in relation as 8th house is house of instbilities. Here, Venus provides great assets and contacts from in-laws but relation may be unstable.  Love life goes through sudden ups and downs and to a big part of life, person never feels comfortable in his love relations. As Venus represents interests and passions in life and 8th house is house of occult and secrets, so these people are very much interested in occult matters but like to keep it secret.
